School update
Jim just called. Says Shelby’s not saying much right now. Seems a little tired.
But, he did say something like “I’ve never been to a school where we had to sit at our tables all day”. (Only other school he’s been to is the Montessori Preschool last summer -and- Tae Kwan Do classes) 
I know he’ll get used to it soon enough, though.
Jim asked him if they got to go out on the playground & he said that they did.
At least he’s not crying & saying that he never wants to go back there again. That’s a good thing!
I’m glad. I was terrified and miserable my 1st day of school but I was shy.

I don’t really remember my first day of school. Jim does, though. It was a Montessori kindergarten. He remembers standing out in the hallway, not knowing what he was supposed to do & the teachers just letting him stay out there, thinking he didn’t want to come in. What a rough start to his next 13 years of school life
