Anna & Shelby were out playing in the yard. It’s about 80 degrees out, partly cloudy. I filled their kiddie pools & they put the slide inbetween them. They are fully clothed (Anna dressed herself today - Shelby picked out his own clothes, but had me help put them on), but soaking wet. I decided to go have a shower. Jim’s sleeping.
When I got out of the shower, they seemed to be engrossed in some kind of game/adventure. Looks like they set up a base camp or headquarters at one part of the stone path in the yard. Shelby was there. Anna was walking the path, away from him, quietly singing a song. Shelby got up & followed a few yards behind, singing quietly, too, although his singing got louder as he came towards me. Something about a wish that no one in the world would ever die. Their little parade continued past me, without acknowledging me at all (besides Shelby’s slightly louder singing), into the other part of the back yard - the part behind the house.
As they passed, two long haired teenage/pre-teenage boys went past on their skateboards. Reminding me so much of my older brothers, as they were back in the 70’s. Charlie barked at them, until they passed. They ignored him altogether, then crossed the busy street without even slowing down.
