Post: My 8 year just got back from swimming - after he took off his suit he decided he need to go outside to catch a bug he had seen - I had to say “dude, don’t go outside naked” he said “oh yeah” and went to get clothes.”
And sometimes they don’t grow out of it…like my hubby.

And his teachers think he’s “odd”?!? LOL
Seriously, public schools are such sweatshops for normalcy - you should be proud that he’s “odd” (and I’m pretty sure you are)!

:D I miss you & your wonderful, thoughtful sense of humor.
That’s one of the things that I liked about his 1st grade teacher - she simply embraced each child as they were, with a complete understanding that the world is filled with 7 billion unique individuals & that each one of them will grow & change in their own time. Sigh…
Ranting again… He brought home all of his stuff on the last day of school. One of the things in his folder was a certificate from his teacher, praising his ‘number sense’. Yet, on the report card, for the 4th quarter, he got a ‘3′ (needs improvement) in ‘number sense’.
WTF???
Sigh - next year - there’s always next year
